Khlong Sangne or Little Amazon Takua Pa is located in Bang Nai Si Subdistrict, Takua Pa District, Phang Nga Province that flows from Khao Bang Tao to Takuapa River. It has a small forest that is full of biodiversity. There are different plants that to see along the banks of Khlong Sangne. It is full of charm and enchantment from the surroundings. The tourists who come to visit this forest gave its name, The Little Amazon. The highlight of the sail is to witness the abundance of nature at Khlong Sangne. You can see some old banyan trees that are hundred years old sprawling along the river. Sometimes, there are branches of the Banyan tress that are hanging in front of you like a tunnel as you ride the boat into the forest that can only be seen at Khlong Sangneh. There are also water plants to see along the river that will add to it’s highlight. You can also see snakes, including green snakes, golden snakes, and pythons, in which you will not afraid of being bitten because we can only see them from a distance and of course, the snakes are sleeping during the day. They usually curl up the trees and wait for the night to hunt again. There are also hornbills, that comes to eat at banyan trees. There are also herons and many other birds living in the forest that also fly in to search for food. If you’re lucky, you will have a chance to see those birds swooping back and forth in front of you.
